One of the big annoyances I have with WordPress on my blog is that when you want to set a post to be published in the future, WordPress only has a textual way of entering the information. This is fine if you only want to move the post by a few hours or a day or so, but if you want to know what three Wednesday’s from today is, you have to go somewhere else find out.
I’ve written a plug for WordPress in that displays a JavaScript calendar in the same area as the standard interface and let’s you select the date and time graphically. It’s VERY JavaScript dependent as there is no “standard” way to hook in to that area of WordPress. Instead the JavaScript is rewriting part of the html on the fly.
I still have some more testing to do with the plugin and then I have to submit it to WordPress.org to get listed, but it should be available in a week or so.
